Let’s make room for one more family

01 / Why ReStart
ReStart is a four-day retreat for married couples where one spouse is a service member or veteran. Participation is free, with advance registration.
Long separations, constant strain, and different experiences of war can make communication between spouses difficult. Everyday responsibilities and worries can leave little quiet time to talk about what matters and give each other their full attention.
ReStart aims to create a caring space for rest, honest conversation, and renewed emotional closeness. We want to help couples grow in understanding, recognize the value of their relationship, and find support for their life together.
Our gatherings are grounded in biblical principles. Participants will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel. We talk about the hope God gives through the Gospel and how His love can sustain families through difficult times.
The program includes family seminars and meetings with family counselors, professional psychologists, and psychotherapists. Couples can discuss their relationship, communication difficulties, and challenging experiences, receive professional support, and give attention to renewing their emotional connection.
Art therapy sessions and creative activities complement conversations and counseling. Creating together offers couples another way to express feelings, share their perspective, and spend time with each other.
The program makes room for rest, personal conversations, and time just for husband and wife. A comfortable retreat setting in the Carpathians offers a few days away from everyday responsibilities to focus on each other.
02 / Your gift makes a difference
Even $100 helps. Smaller gifts add up to fund another couple’s participation in this four-day retreat.

Five gifts of $100 add up to $500, enough to increase the number of families by one.

Two gifts of $250 add up to $500, and one more couple can join the retreat.

To bring God’s life-changing truths to married couples in Ukraine. We want couples to find hope in Christ and put God’s design for marriage into practice in everyday family life.
